Lumi is manufactured here in Australia using a combination of Australian fruit juices and purees, blended with some imported ingredients such as natural flavours and stabilising blend to give it it’s delicious creamy texture.
Lumi is manufactured here in Australia using a combination of Australian fruit juices and purees, blended with some imported ingredients such as natural flavours and stabilising blend to give it it’s delicious creamy texture.
Lumi is made from a blend of reconstituted fruit juices and puree. At least 90% of the content comes from fruit. The last 10% is a blend of de-ionised fruit juices, a natural vegetable gum which holds the product together, plus natural colours & flavours.
Lumi contains no fat and no dairy, although resembles the consistency of soft serve ice cream. The combination of the recipe and the specific dispensing machine creates this wonderfully, creamy taste and texture. The product has 80% overrun (a ratio calculating air content) which is why it tastes so light.
A regular serve (148ml & 80% overrun) of Lumi has the following calories:
Strawberry 69 calories
Mango 73 calories
Mixed Berry 71 calories
An average sized apple has approximately 90 calories (based on Pink Lady 170g – this varies based on size & variety.
Yes – There is no dairy content in the ingredients that make up Lumi
Yes – There is no gluten content in the ingredients that make up Lumi
Yes – Nutritional analysis indicates total fat content is less than 0.1g/100g of product.
No – To mitigate the risk of cross contamination in the manufacturing process we have implemented a validated allergen management program.
Yes – Lumi doesn’t contain any food products produced by animals such as milk, eggs, honey or meat.
Yes – Lumi is both Halal and Kosher certified
Yes – Lumi does not contain any dairy and is therfore lactose free
No – Lumi does not contain artificial colours or flavours
The various vegetable gums in the stabiliser blend come from a number of countries and blended here in Australia. The Vegetable gum can be classed as “Made in Australia” but from imported ingredients. The countries that supply the vegetable gum components are China, France, India, Philippines, Netherlands
The vegetable gums act as a stabiliser in the product helping to reduce the speed of melting and allowing the product to be served as a swirl.
